The BCDC1225D + SBI212 dual battery system is designed using premium Redarc DC-DC charging technology and isolator. This ensures the auxiliary battery is charged in the most efficient manner during vehicle operation. This system offers provision for solar input if required (not included in this install). The battery isolator protects the start battery from excessive discharge, while allowing the auxiliary battery to power accessories. This system also allows linking of the start and auxiliary batteries via OEM style dashboard mounted switch in case of high-power or auxiliary starting requirements.
